A little prep work goes a long way
When prepping a home as a short term rental, you have to think about both form and function. What are some of the best things you have loved about staying at a hotel and things you missed from home when you were away? These are items that you want to offer to your guests.

These items below are on our startup checklist as MUST HAVES at every house. This is a great place to get started, and of course, we would love an opportunity to help you with the rest!
Preferred Lock
We have found that having a wifi enabled lock with rolling codes is not only safe for your home, but guests love our ability to program their entry code to a number they already know. Add peace of mind that they know the last guest no longer has access to the home, this lock is a winner for ALL of our homes.
Coffee Time
We really like this Kuerig Machine as it appeals to those who like the K-pods and also those that prefer traditional drip coffee. We recommend having some starter coffee available for people as well when they arrive, at least enough to get the whole group their first mornings cup!

Thermostat
Another smart feature that we like to deploy in our homes is the addition of a smart thermostat. Some guests don't understand how to use them, so we can help them out. Others like to leave the house crazy cold in the summer or hot in the winter and you don't want to have that cranked on your empty days.
